Saddle
Rose has a variety of scheduled adventures to provide as
many opportunities for the senior as possible. Something as
easy as a barbeque at the beautiful "Saddle Rose" log house,
all the way to Alaskan cruises and everything in between.
Many
seniors have never imagined that they can leave their homes
for a simple holiday, but Saddle Rose has given
hundreds of people the confidence to travel. Many start off
with a day trip to a park or scenic picnic spot, and gain a
great deal of self-confidence when they meet new friends at
a casually paced outing. Saddle Rose has become the older
travelers first stop for holiday plans.
Butchart
Gardens has been a favourite of many seniors. They enjoy the
Victoria clime and the city's elegance.
Tours have
included various casinos, wineries, houseboat tours, ski
resorts, ranches, Skagit Valley Tulips Festival, Butchart
and Minter Gardens, dinner theater, Broadway, opera, popular
entertainers and figure skating.
They have
also visited hot springs, Salt Spring Island, Coeur D'Alene,
Kettle Valley Railway, Vancouver Island, Queen Charlotte
Islands, Alaska, San Diego, Leavenworth US Christmas
Light-up, Barkerville, the Rocky Mountains, Hawaii and Mexico.
